The last issue of the journal Schnittstelle Germanistik (2024), which brings together East European Germanic studies, has published Saagpakk’s article Aspekte der estnischen Übersetzungskultur in der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts. In it, Saagpakk focuses on presenting the methods and functions of adaptation techniques prevalent in the mid-19th century. The article offers a broad overview of the various translators active during that period and examines their working principles.
