At the conference Deutscher Germanistentag in Paderborn 25.-28. September 2022 Jänes and Saagpakk presented a paper on multilingualism in Baltic-German literature. The aim of the panel was to bring together scholars from Eastern-European countries to compare the use of multilingualism in the texts of German diasporas in their countries. Multilingualism used to be a common element in the whole Eastern European region and the papers shed light on the ways and methods how literary multilingualism in historical texts is currently analyzed in Poland, Czechia, Hungary and Estonia.
